Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark Auditions Held Aspirants mesmerised in traditional look
Hyderabad, feb 2018: 5th Edition of Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark - 2018, beauty pageant auditions organized by the Silk Mark Organization of India – an initiative of central silk board, Ministry of textiles, Govt of India. To select the finalist for Srimathi Silk Mark Hyderabad were held at central silk board in Prashasan Nagar, Jubilee Hills.
The committee has shortlisted 70 contestants out of 120 aspirants from various professionals viz., Doctors, Entrepreneurs, IT Employees, Fashion Designers, Lawyers and Home Makers, who has Beauty and Talented have shown curiosity to be part of this Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark Beauty Pageant - 2018
20 contestants were selected for the Hyderabad Srimathi Silk Mark on the basis of Awareness on Silks’ ‘Communication & Presentation Skills’ and ‘Overall Appearance’ in ‘Traditional Pure Silk Sarees’ by eminent Jurys Shravani Reddy, Poonam Tiwari Yarlagadda, Gayathri Swaroop.
According to Y Srinivasa Rao, Deputy Director, Central Silk Board, after receiving an encouraging response from all corners of Telangana and particularly Hyderabad City, The event was organized for specifically crafted and designed for married women who are brand ambassadors for Telugu Culture and Traditional Values depicting the “Glimpses of Indian Silks spreading the awareness on Silk. Educating Women to Identify Pure Silks and encourage to wear Indian traditional attire.
Silk Mark committed over all efforts to create awareness about the ‘Importance of Pure Silk (PATTU)’ among the Silk Consumers. The message was disseminated to the consumers to ensure the presence of Silk Mark Label reliable assurance for purchasing authenticated Pure Silk Products.
